Total Desolation Part 42

The doors to the dining hall opened and Reapers began filing in. Aagneya raised his right hand and shot fire out across the room that hit and lit all the candles on the table. I jumped slightly, not expecting that.
The Reapers came and took their respective spots next to their chairs, not yet sitting.
“Today we celebrate,” Aagneya’s masculine voice boomed out thru the dining hall. “The 19th year of rule. Enjoy this feast as if it were your last.” Aagneya again raised his right arm but this time blue lightning crackled out of his arm into the air, it cracked loudly and stung my ears. Another set of doors opened in the dining hall and servers, mere humans, came and began laying out meals on the tables as the Reapers took their seats. Aagneya gestured for me to sit in the chair that they had brought out and I sat.
The Reapers made horrifying noises at the humans and some of them grabbed at them, others tripping them. One of the humans tripped when a Reaper stuck out what I thought was a foot and the platter they were carrying fell to the floor with a loud crash.
Aagneya’s face contorted in anger and he shoved back his chair and stood, yelling. “Goddamnit! Can’t we do anything proper! Get the hell out!” Aagneya raised his hand and shot crackling blue lightning out at the servant. The man quickly scampered up but was not quick enough as he got shot in the back by the lightning. He yelled out in pain as he dropped to the floor in spastic spasms, his gray robe was scorched in the back were the lightning had struck in an outbursting pattern.
Aagneya glanced at me and scooched his chair under him once again and sat, the dining hall in absolute silence. Quickly the servants dispersed back into the kitchen and the Reapers wolfed down the food, making pigs of themselves. They were absolutely disgusting, the way their ate was vial, turkey was ripped to shreds with bare boney fingers and stuffed into their gaunt faces that I saw flashes of every now and then when the chandelier caught their skulls the right way. Wine was chugged and sloped across the table and floor, food was thrown back and forth, slimy grease was smothered across the table and chairs, down their robes across their faces.
I brought a hand to my mouth as I tried to swallow the bile rising in my throat. I pushed my plate away, I couldn’t eat with this, it was all too disgusting, despite the fact that I hadn't eaten since I had died I couldn’t stand to eat in this moment.
Aagneya looked at me with a look in his eye stating that I better not tip them off to my humanity,if you could even call me human anymore. My own temper flared at the look in his eyes and I saw my eyes in the reflection of his, they burned a blood red and I fought to control my temper, knowing if I lost it now all hell would break loose.
Under the table I clenched and unclenched my fists, trying to calm down. I let out a long breath and calmed myself as Aagneya watched me, unaware of my hatred towards him. I turned my attention back to the Reapers as they destroyed their meals, but I wasn’t actually paying attention to what they were doing, I was thinking, horrible, horrible thoughts.
Finally the Reapers were done devouring the disgusting food and they walked out, leaving a disgusting mess behind for the servants to clean up. I grimaced at the filth and walked out, not waiting for Aagneya, but I quickly felt his presence as he followed me.
“Where are you going?” Aagneya finally asked as I made random turns through the halls.
“Anywhere but here.” I responded spitefully.
“What did you expect?”
I suddenly turned on him, my temper flaring out of control. “These things are disgusting! How can they do that to innocent beings!?”
“It’s how they are, how I created them.”
Suddenly I got a pang in my chest as if someone had stabbed a knife through my heart. The pain was insufferable.
“You bastard!” I found myself slapping him across the face and there was a loud smacking sound as my hand struck his cheek.
I quickly turned and stormed away, leaving Aagneya in a shocked state, when he recovered he would be furious. I rounded a corner of a hallway and turned myself invisible. I sat myself down indian style against the wall and concentrated on calming my breathing. I soon had control of my breathing on felt myself floating upwards in meditation. I listened to my surroundings and heard Aagneya coming back to reality as he starting walking the way I had gone.
I opened my eyes and watched as he searched for signs of which way I had gone. He finally decided which way he was going and stalked off. I slowly let myself fall back to the ground and walked back the way I had come, hoping to get out of this place.
I was almost halfway to the way I had come in when I sensed Aagneya close by, I quickly ran a hallway back and snuck into the room Aagneya had first brought me to. I turned myself visible again and sat on the bed in a fetal position. I knew he would check to see if I was in here and I wanted to be seen as a harmless human so that I could figure out how to save The Black Parade. I forcibly made a few tears streak my face to look as though I had been crying.
The door creaked open slowly as Aagneya’s head popped around the corner.
“What are you doing in here?” He asked, almost sympathetic.
I looked up at him, forcing vulnerability into my voice I answered, “I couldn’t find the way out again.” It was a flat out lie of course and I hoped that my voice was persuasive as I didn’t have much practice talking in a vulnerable voice, I liked to sound more in control, defiant.
“Okay, but why are you in my room?”
“I got scared when I heard a Reaper nearby and ran into the closest room, when I found out it was this one I decided to stay.” I let a tear fall down my cheek, playing my role all too well, I always did have a knack for acting.
Aagneya came and sat by me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and pulling me close, he was warm, more than warm, he was burning hot against me. I was so used to my own frozen skin that such a heat felt like I would burn into oblivion.
Next thing I knew we were kissing on the bed, he had a certain hunger in him, one that overtook me. I knew that this was wrong with the fact that I already had Raven but Aagneya was overpowering, I had a certain urge to be with him, I couldn’t explain it but I knew I wanted to be with him forever. I could just leave Raven and Waterfall Bomb, even Midnight, and just live here with Aagneya, they wouldn’t know what had happened to me. My thoughts were lost in Aagneya’s passionate kissing.
