we had been traning as hard as ever the past few days and everyone was ready. well... as ready as you could be when your basically going on a suicide mission. i knew that some of us wouldnt survive but i was still honored to have been able to fight alongside with these people. after everything we had been through.. we were family.
everyone was wiped so thank go it was gees birthday so we all got off early and we even got cake. we gathered around the table in the kitchen and gee blew out the candles. even though everyone was nervous, we were glad to just be able to relax.
after a while everyone went upstairs to their rooms and i was goona surprise gee with a cupcake that everyone made for him. (and yes it literally took more than 6 people to make this damn thing)
i crept up the stairs as quietly as i could and tried to balance the cupcake i was holding for gee in my hands. him and linsdays door was open slightly with light streaming out of it into the hall. i heard them talking quietly and was about to grab the door handle when my name being said clearly. i stepped back slightly and listened.
'what are you saying?' linsday asked, her voice was wavering slightly.
'im saying that i knew her... when i met her.'
'but what do you mean?!'
'when she found the diner by accident, as soon as i saw her i knew who she was. ive known all along. i wasnt sure that i wanted to know her. all i wanted was bandit back.'
the fire of the candle on the cupcake blew out with a sudden gust of wind. i felt like i had been stabbed in the back. i dropped the cupcake and ran into my room and slammed the door. i rested my head against the cool wood door and sighed.
'what the hell is the matter with you?'
fuck. party thunder was there.
'nothing.'
'well its obviously something.' she said.
i walked over to the mirror that hanged on the wall. i was a mess. my eyemakeup came down in long black streaks down my face.
'wow. you look like shit.' that's it, i thought. no more taking shit from her or from anyone.
'what the hell is the matter with you?' i snapped. 'look im sorry i-'
'no your not. you couldnt be less sorry if you tried. and as for whats wrong stay the hell out of my buisness.'
i turned my back to her. 'look.' she said. 'i really am sorry. and if you want to tell me whats wrong im here for you'
she turned to leave.
'wait.' i said. and i told someone that i thought that absoloutely hated me, everything.

i entered the front hall and saw something that amazed me. evry single killjoy that we knew was there. 'i convinced successful failure to bring in some backup.' acidic wolf said.
'we definetely need it.' bulletproof princess said with a smile.i hugged them tight.
'everybody ready?' i asked the group.
everyone said what sounded like a completely petrified 'yeah' so we made our way outisde to the trucks.
'wait guys, my radio.' i jogged back to the door just as party poison, fun ghoul, kobra kid and jet-star were coming out of the house.
'what the hell are you doing?' i asked party poison angrily.
he looked surprised. 'what are you talking about? im going on the mission.'
'no your not.' i said.
'the hell im not.' he said.
'it's my mission. already been cleared with successful failure. and she agrees with me. your too attached to this.'
'damn straight im attached to this!' he shouted. people were starting to look over now. 'acid you can't...' kobra kid said. 'i already have.'
'acid i am your father. let me go with you!'
i turned on him. 'my father? MY FATHER?! you sir, are NOT my father. my father died when i left better living industries. my father raised me and he CERTAINLY DID NOT pretend for MONTHS on end that he didnt know who i was.'
'how did you-?' 'i heard your conversation with lindsay. you should learn to shut you doors.' i spat at him and walked away.
'fun ghoul and kobra and jet star come if you want. i dont really give a shit.' i hopped in the van and screamed at adam to drive, leaving the memories that i made with party poison and lindsay in the dust.

the entrance into battery city in the stoolen bli vans went off without a hitch. we drove to the main buildings loading docks and parked. 'they love you scarlett. you know that.' kobra kid said. i looked up at him. 'i dont. not anymore.' he put his hand on my shoulder and i stood up to hug him. 'im still your favorite niece though right?' he laughed. 'yea okay.' he joked.
'everybody ready?' i yelled. 'lets go!' we jumed out of the trucks and killed five dracs. some stayed in the cars to be ready for the quick getaway that we planned.
our boots thumped on the white tile floor. we crashed into the main lobby. screams of panic erupted from the bli citizens that were in the lobby. i came around to the main desk and put my gun to the kneck of the guy that was sitting there. 'quarintine it. shut it down. no one in or out. and come with us. your gonna help us with something.' i grabbed him by the shirt and yanked him up and then pushed him in front of us. 'so everyones locked in their officies?' lithium sorrows asked.
'they should be.' fun ghoul said. 'alright. this might actually go according to plan.' i said with relief. i threw the guy up against the wall. 'so if you wanna live, tell us where bandit and romeo vs juliet are. '
'sixteenth floor. there's only the one holding cell.' we hit the elevator button and we were whisked up in the air. the doors opened and the overhead lights flickered. 'hello?' i said as we moved forward i saw someone curled in the corner with something smallish in her arms. 'julie?' i said. it as her, i was sure of it. 'your not real. your not real. your not real.' she said over and over and over again. i knelt down to her and put my hands on her shoulders. 'yes we are.' her head snapped up and tears filled her big brown eyes. 'you came'. she sobbed. 'yes.' i said blinking back my tears. 'we did.' just then the little person that she was holding yawned and stretched her little arms. 'acid shock, may i introduce you to your little baby sister?' she handed her to me and the little girl smiled up at me in the biggest smile possible.
'time to go people!' korse is on his way!' kobra kid shouted. 'time to go home.' i told them. i tried to give bandit back to julie but she wrapped her little arms around my kneck and wouldnt let go. we ran towards the elevator and got out.
'HEY!" someone shouted. we looked behind us and saw a swarm of dracs and korse himself. 'time to fight.' i said. i shot and killed five dracs. major hydrogen pulled out her knife and managed to kill ten dracs.
'guys! time to go!' the vans pulled up and we turned to run. i gave bandit to kobra kid and started to run when i felt my body fill with searing pain.
*narrators point of view.
acid shock turned to run when she felt a searing pain fill her body. she looked down and saw dagger through he stomach. she fell to the floor. her friends turned horrified and saw her. 'leave!' she shouted. 'just go! please go!' bandit crawled towards hre. 'are you gonna be okay?' she sked in her sweet child voice. 'yes baby ill be fine go.' kobra picked her up and kissed acid shock on the head. adam saw her and started screaming. the older killjoys had to pull the younger ones to the van. evryone was yelling and crying. romeo vs juliet ran back. 'your my best friend.' party thunder came to get her, dodging ray gun fires. 'im so sorry.' party thunder said. 'go.' acid shock whispered.
and she watches as her friends drove off into the night. acid shock felt the tears stream down her face as her vision blurred and she fell asleep.
