Vinyl

Does anyone else still listen to vinyl?
I love records. That feeling you get when you go op-shopping or go to garage sales and find a killer record. It's a wonderful feeling! Like when you find the Beatles album Help, for only 3 dollars, you feel like it's the most precious thing you've ever bought! Maybe I'm old fashioned or old school but I think records are special. They've got a retro feeling about them... It seems like more effort has gone into them than into an MP3.. not that I don't like MP3s, because they're great. But records have a lovely feeling.

The second photo is some of my record collection: The Beatles, Popcorn, Monty Python, the Rolling Stones, the Rolling Stones, the Ramones, the White Stripes, the White Stripes, Karen Elson, the Dollyrots, the Dead Weather, the Runaways, the Black Belles.

I'm quite proud of my collection. By the time I have my own house I plan to have a whole wall shelf full of records. All set up in alphabetical order! Or maybe by genre...
