Just One Book

on December 15, 2010 - 6:50pm

If you had to choose one book to carry around with you forever, which one would you choose and why? I’d choose Paper Towns by John Green. It's a very powerful book at least in my eyes. Arguably sadder than my second choice, Looking For Alaska by the same author. So, which one would you choose? =)

Whatever happened to the release of that song? Wasn't on the B-sides cd. Anyone know?

Which one is your favorite??? I love them all, but Black Dragon Fighting Society is my favorite. God it had me head banging 3 seconds into the song =) I always hoped the guys would title one of their tracks Black Dragon Fighting Society and I'm so happy they did! I even used it as my Myspace user name for a long time haha So, yeah. Which one is your favorite?

It was an awesome night at the House of Blues minus the occasional douchebag/baggette who tried to ruin everything by acting "hardcore". Did anyone see it on MTV? I was on the left side of the crowd. Wish the concert was a bit longer, but I understand it was short because it was televised. Such a great night! And they even had a Zones Carnival! =D I won a crap load of stuff and they even gave us all balloons =D haha I'll be uploading THE ENTIRE concert on my youtube channel in a bit one video at a time. I borrowed my cousin's Mino HD, but it didn't perform as well as I'd hoped in the audio department, but at least you get to see the guys crystal clear, up close and personal =) Phew. So tired now =_=

Transmitting this to any Killjoys in Zone 4. Stumbled upon a small oasis on the outskirts. Impossible, I know, but it's real. Looks safe, for now. No Dracs in sight. Come and fill up on H2O when you want. I'll be here. No funny shit or I'll ghost you faster than you can say Na Na Na. Atomic Kilo out.

My gf surprised me by ordering the Danger Days California 2019 edition for Xmas and apparently 2 of 3 items have shipped. Does anyone know which service the band store uses to deliver their merch? I would really love to track it. Also, which items from the bundle edition do you think have likely been shipped? I assume neither of the packages that are on the way contain the ray gun due to their defects, right? Any help from you guys would be awesome =)

Missed out on some good tickets for the Palladium show! I partied last night in Hollywood and didn't fall asleep until 4am. Didn't wake up til about 3pm lol Tickets aren't that great now. Oh, well. I'll go to the venue that day next year. They usually add a handful of pit tics on the concert date anyway. =) + on the bright side, I get to see the dudes LIVE this Monday at the House of Blues! w00t! Put on your gas mask, LA Killjoys. The boys are gonna contaminate the hell of this city.

Alright, Killjoys, I have a question for you. Now that you have undoubtedly listened to the new Danger Days album via Dr. Death Defying's radio transmission, which song do you love best in the sense that it is the most meaningful to you? I absolutely love The Kids From Yesterday. It takes all of my emotions and plays with them like a god damned guitar. It's safe to say that I'm requesting that song to be played at my funeral. It's so perfect for me. Hmmm....why not? While we're on the subject of funerals, which song would you want played at your funeral? Sorry for taking a turn down Morbid Drive. You don't have to answer that last question if you don't want to. =)

Or at least that's what I hear from recent posts lol I had to tickets reserved for myself and my girlfriend for that show. We ended up getting there about 20 minutes late because of the unavoidable LA traffic. Tried getting in, but the guards didn't let us in even though we had out ticket print outs. Douche bags. lul ok so we dished out PLAN B and went to the Hot Topic where a line was already developing. I didn't have a wristband because I pre-ordered Danger Days and bought the shirt at a Hot Topic near my home a good 50 miles from LA. If I had known the wristbands were only available @ the Hollywood Hot Topic I'd have driven there earlier to get mine.
My gf and I sat on a bench for a while hoping to get in, but a security dude told us we're wasting our time since we didn't have a wrist band. Totally killed my joy lol After a while, the line started moving and the security dudes started announcing that only one piece of merch was to be signed and that pictures were strictly forbidden. That sounds like the crappiest meet and greet ever, but meeting the guys in general would have made up for it.
So, my girlfriend started feeling really under the weather because it was super cold in the mall (it's kind of an open out doors mall) & we decided to leave. Didn't get to see the guys last night, but at least I'll be seeing them at the House of Blues this Monday. Going to be there bright and early as soon as I pick up my copy of DDs. And who knows, maybe I'll get to meet them after the show and take all kinds of epic pics with them. I'm a glass half full kind of guy. =)
