Well I loved Insomnia 58!

on August 31, 2016 - 6:54am

I od t want to go into too much detail or else I'll be here all day and this blog would be made up of 50 paragraphs. Anyway, on Monday I went to a large gaming event called Insomnia (this one was Insomnia 58 but they did miss out 13 so it's technically the 57th Insomnia). It was at Birmingham NEC so there was a lot of space to fill up with different panels and stalls about gaming.

Why I hate clothes shopping (well not fully)

on August 24, 2016 - 7:17pm

My left hand is all numb from leaning on it for over 2 hours XD. Anyway, on to the blog! So yesterday (yesterday for me because it's 2:45am) I had to go clothes shopping with my mum, my brother and my dad because I needed school shoes (uniforms suck) and we all needed formal clothes for my grandparents' wedding anniversary event coming up in September. Now, I've been dreading this day since the event was arranged. I hate clothes shopping, especially with my family. (Be warned, I have a lot to say)

To start off, I'm the type of person that only ever keeps to one type is style.

Wow! I talk about gaming conventions and not just rubbish (skip to the second paragraph for i58)

on August 21, 2016 - 4:31pm

Oh, I've got a headache. I shouldn't be looking at screens all day XD. Well I did get away from my iPad and my laptop and my phone etc when I went to my cousins' house. See, my auntie, uncle and one of my cousins have been on away on a cruise for the past two weeks (was it two weeks or three?). Anyway, my other cousin decided that he's too old for family trips away (I mean he is 18) and stayed at home.

Why I blog some days and not others

on August 20, 2016 - 6:02pm

If you have seen my account, there have been blogs out day after day... And then a stop... Then they come back but every two to three days even though my profile bio says I post daily. I should really edit that. I just either have had a really busy day and I haven't had time to blog, I've have a really uneventful day with nothing to talk about or I've just lost motivation to make blogs.

I know how friendly this community is, so if I never get any comments (and I know this isn't always true but I've just had the negative in mind) I feel like no one has read it... I just go straight for that

Where has 2016 gone?

on August 18, 2016 - 4:50pm

I went to both my grandparents for the days (today, well yesterday now, and yesterday, the day before that) because my parents were working. Oh I've though of something interesting. My cousin just got his A level results back today. Although we haven't heard fully what he got, we know he's passed all of his exams! Oh and he got a place in the college so my grandma was pleased. It's a shame my auntie and uncle couldn't be there to find out with him. They are currently on a cruise with my other cousin and don't come back for a couple of days.

MY BLOG

If you have seen my account, there have been blogs out day after day... And then a stop... Then they come back but every two to three days even though my profile bio says I post daily. I should really edit that. I just either have had a really busy day and I haven't had time to blog, I've have a really uneventful day with nothing to talk about or I've just lost motivation to make blogs.

I know how friendly this community is, so if I never get any comments (and I know this isn't always true but I've just had the negative in mind) I feel like no one has read it... I just go straight for that conclusion. I'm not forcing you to comment. If there is nothing you feel like you can comment on then don't leave one. I just thought I'd mention that. I'm pretty sure I not alone with that thought. Anyway, I remember around the time this year where this site blew up again (so around February), I didn't bother commenting on other blogs or even reading them and I feel bad for that now but at the time it seemed the 'reasonable' thing to do because so many blogs were coming in at a time that my blogs were drowned out in the matter of an hour. I mean we have to agree, a part of it was spam but most of it was real people talking about their day(s). Sorry...

(I don't feel like it would be appropriate to end with my little sign off)

I went to both my grandparents for the days (today, well yesterday now, and yesterday, the day before that) because my parents were working. Oh I've though of something interesting. My cousin just got his A level results back today. Although we haven't heard fully what he got, we know he's passed all of his exams! Oh and he got a place in the college so my grandma was pleased. It's a shame my auntie and uncle couldn't be there to find out with him. They are currently on a cruise with my other cousin and don't come back for a couple of days. Me, my brother and my granddad went to to eat lunch and then bought my cousin a large slice of chocolate fudge cake as a bit of a celebration (or should I say cellabration XD) . I think he was too interested in his Xbox game to fully appreciate the act of kindness.

Well, what is left to come up this year? I am going to the gaming festival Insomnia 58 on bank holiday Monday. Well, at the start of September, my grandparents have their golden wedding anniversary. After that it's back to school. Then Halloween, Bonfire Night and soon enough Christmas! Oh, where has the year gone? I mean seriously. It only feels like minutes ago that in March I was trying to get tickets to a P!ATD concert coming up in November. I didn't get the tickets but still. At the same time, this year has also gone quite slow. I mean it's hard to believe I came across some amazing YouTubers this year but it feels like I've been watching them for years. As well as that, it feels like I've had my MCR fan made shoes for at least a year although I bought them in December and they delivered on January.

Other things I can't wait for this year, apart from Insomnia IM COMING SKY, BARNEY AND RED! I'm looking forward to getting The Black Parade / Living With Ghosts on CDs. I can't wait until the Alternative Press magazine I order online comes. One weird thing I can't wait for is school starting up. I guess I just miss my friends. I've tried contacting some more but they haven't read my messages. Oh well. One person I'm still considering on messaging is my crush. Because he knows I like him, he has kind of gone a bit shy over messages but he is still kind and he still offered to meet up at school... I just don't know if he'll want to meet up out of school. I mean, he can't say that it would be weird meeting out of school because I've met him before out of school. Once again the park and once at this big Scouts event that I was watching. He was a part of it. I wouldn't feel awkward until there is nothing to talk about but I'd try to avoid it. I may just leave it until we get back to school so I can arrange to bring some other friends along as well so it makes it less awkward. We have a few close mutual friends so that may work.

Anyway, the morning me is starting to talk. I just go right off topic whenever it's really early in the morning.

Remember it's a British beach so it rained a bit and it wasn't all that sunny. More like clouds. Me, my mum, my brother and my grandparents went to Scarborough for the beach and some fish and chips and a walk on the beach. We had to find dog-friendly sections of the beach so we were at the end of the beach with not that many stores. Walked around in our shoes on the beach throwing around a tennis ball around for the dog to chase. Then we went to look for lunch. There were burger store, pizza stores and sandwich stores but not many fish and chip shops. I wanted the traditional fish and chips at the beach! We ended up finding one restaurant that served fish and chips but I didn't really enjoy it. In the restaurant there was a Canadian family (well I believe they were Canadian. I couldn't really tell) and my brother was so rude just saying "oh I hate their accent!". Just because they are foreign doesn't mean you can be rude to them. He also said "why would you want to stay in the UK?". BECAUSE I LIVE HERE! Okay I don't love myself that much. Then we went back to the beach without our shoes on and with our trousers (pants for you Americans) rolled up to not get covered in sea water. That didn't help. Me and my brother were jumping the waves, splashing ourselves at the same time. I was completely wet through waist down. So we returned to the restaurant to use the toilets to change into spare trousers. After that, we went on a search for the sweet (candy) rock. I don't know how to explain what rock is if you don't know. After a bit of time, my grandma noticed that a load of people were leaving this one shop with a stick of rock in their hands. She pointed at the store and me and my mum nearly passed it because guess what... It was a pop-punk store. I stopped for a second to look into the stores and my grandma said it was the right one. I walked in. GUESS WHAT WAS PLAYING?!? MY FRIENDS OVER YOU BY NEW FOUND GLORY! Oh my word, I was begging to stay in that store after we noticed they only had a couple of flavour of rock that weren't that good. I wanted to look around. I wanted to see what there was. The guy at the till was totally a drummer in some sort of band because he wouldn't stop tapping the desk he was at. Oh I wish I lived closer to there. It took at least an hour or two to get there. Anyway, I'd go again! XD

Seen as school doesn't start up again until September, I really don't have anything to talk about. I mean seriously! I hardly do anything during the holidays. I guess this will really be a blog about some small topics I want to talk about. Oh I did have something planned to talk about but it's like 20 to 2 in the morning and it's dark so I can't be bothered digging out the things I was going to talk about... Maybe tomorrow.

Anyway, here are a few small topics that may end up becoming large topics but I won't know until I start: (I lost my breath just from reading that aloud in my mind XD)

1. So who has already preordered The Black Parade / Living With Ghosts? I know I have! I preordered it around 28th of July. 29th? I don't know. I'd have to check talk to see when I first started talking about The Five Of Us Are Dying. Anyway, I thought I'd get the I'm Not Okay wristband whilst I was on the site. I was going to get some tshirts but sizes are confusing so didn't bothered (Am I a small or a medium? I'm different depending on if it's a woman's top or a unisex top). Speaking of this MCRX thing, I have to say that it's funny that on my birthday, I got the Black Parade Gerard Way Pop Rocks Vinyl figure and then the day after, the MCRX video was posted across social media. Was it the day after? I don't fully remember. It seemed liked the day after but I'm not good with dates. (No wonder I'm forever alone. Bad pun Charlotte)

2. Has anyone seen videos from the YouTube channel TheDooo? Oh my word, he is a guitar god. He plays Black Ops 2 on Xbox 360 and sometimes on PS3 and takes song requests from people in the game. Instantly after the request, he plays the song on his guitar. He knows nearly every song on guitar. HE IS A WALKING AND TALKING GUITAR MUSIC RIFF DICTIONARY! I can play anything in an instant! He even plays the guitar on omegle too to anyone he finds. He is such an underrated youtuber with only 300,000 subscribers yet he has 700,000 views on some of his videos. It wouldn't surprise me if he has a million views on one video because he is that good at guitar. He has played songs from the likes of Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Green Day, Iron Maiden, Metalica, Guns N Roses And many more. Although, the one song he won't play by request is Hotline Bling by Drake.

3. The weather is crazy (ha, typical Brit talking about the weather). But seriously, the wind currently is really fasted. Join that with the rain and clouded sky and you get a small storm. Ha, and typical British weather. As soon as I talk about the wind, it decides to shut up making it seem like I was lying. AND IT'S BACK AGAIN. Again, me being a typical Brit because I'm interested in the weather and use it as a whole conversation starter!

4. Erm, I'm running out of things to talk about... Hi. This is the life of a typical (four)teen (year old) who never leaves the house. (I'm just waiting on my friends to text me... mum)

I'll end this off before I die of lack of sleep (although knowing me I won't sleep for another 3 hours)

So I don't come on here as often as I used to. I joined this site on the 31st of December 2015. That's not that long ago but it feels like ages ago because since then, the people on here have directed me to other sites such as INO, talk, TTE, Twitter, Spotify etc and not all of these are MCR related, there was just a situation that appeared and someone recommended for me to sign up to Twitter seen as most famous people use Twitter more than other sites.

This site was the start of it all. If it wasn't for me signing up on here, I'd probably just be sat in the corner of my bedroom everyday just slowly turning crazy XD. It's made me more confident in a way because I feel like I could do anything on here (but I can't but you know what I mean XD). Everyone on here is really kind and friendly and is here to help out. Now, I may only be 14 (turned 14 since I last came on here) but I have a lot to say to others. There are any other websites for Killjoys/MCRmy members such as talk.mcrmy.com , totheendblog.freeforums.net (shameless plug seen as I'm one of the admins on there. Althuugh saying that, I always get the web address wrong so I apologise if it leads to the wrong site. I believe it's right, I just checked but sometimes it likes to lead to a different site), imnotokay.net and many more but I'd be here for a while if I named every website I've met killjoys on.

Now, I love responding to comments but I can't respond to comments and expect the person to see the response nearly a month after. That's one reason as well as all the mess above. Anyway, I didn't forget about this site, I just... Well technically I did. I usually keep it open as a tab on my iPad but I ran out of tabs so it was replaced and I forgot to put it back on. Anyway, I'd like to say thank you to everyone on here that has commented on any of my blogs on here because you may just feel like it was just a small gesture but to me, it's a whole new person to get to know! In a way, the comments on here just make me feel a bit more happy that I'm a MCR fan. Now the things that MCR has helped me come across is a different story. I'll try to blog more this month seen as I've been feeling really bored and annoyed over the past weeks since the last blog.
