When things are good, something changes it

on October 5, 2016 - 10:07am

So it's been a couple of days. Now let's go into the highlights of the week so far.

1. The fire alarm went off on Monday 5 minutes before science finished. We went out to the Astro turf and had to stand ther for 20 minutes before they were sure that the school wasn't on fire. That meant that we missed out on my break. Luckily at my school, there are two breaktimes meaning I was put on late break along with everyone in the school.

Why does everything love-wise link together in some way?

on September 26, 2016 - 4:09pm

I thought I'd start off by saying that I just love Living With Ghosts! If the songs on there were fully edited, I think I could of worked as its own proper album. At the moment, I'm only listening to my CD because I managed to break my new earphones by snapping of the left earphone wire. No joke, it snapped right off. They were only cheap temporary ones anyway. It just makes music sound weird without it because I have half the sounds. They only lasted a week or two and a bit. Now, on to the day.

Got the bus, got to school. My friend was on about asking someone out. Okay. First lesson, French.

Wow, I'm very repetitive

on September 18, 2016 - 7:43am

There is something I'm desperate to talk about but I don't want to get strangers online involved. I feel like if I tell anyone, it should be either the person involved or one of my friends at school because they would be better to sort this out. It's not anything bad so don't worry. It's also not anything you would be able to think up do don't try to guess what I'm on about. Anyway, onto the blog (that may be very short because not much has happened).

I got invited to a birthday party in October. It is a big deal because the person literally invited over 100 random people on Facebook.

Week one of school

on September 14, 2016 - 4:35pm

I went back to school on the 7th (I think, the Wednesday) so I've had a full week of school so I've met all my teachers and classmates. I think I'm going to have a good year apart from like a few small things. I mean I have some nice teachers but some of them are known to become meaner as the year goes in. I mean I'm top set for maths and the teacher is treating us like little kids and giving us consequences for the silliest of things like asking for help etc. There are so many new teachers this year so about half of my timetable is filled with new teachers.

Well I loved Insomnia 58!

on August 31, 2016 - 6:54am

I od t want to go into too much detail or else I'll be here all day and this blog would be made up of 50 paragraphs. Anyway, on Monday I went to a large gaming event called Insomnia (this one was Insomnia 58 but they did miss out 13 so it's technically the 57th Insomnia). It was at Birmingham NEC so there was a lot of space to fill up with different panels and stalls about gaming.

I got invited to a birthday party in October. It is a big deal because the person literally invited over 100 random people on Facebook. I'm still going to go because it's one of my good friends. Anyway, I had a look at some of the people invited. Some strangers, some good friends, some people who never go to parties so they won't turn up, some 'friends', one or two people I'm not really friendly with, some people I've been avoiding or who have been avoiding me, oh and she invited some of the popular group. What should I wear? I mean it's a 15th birthday party (that's weird to say because I only turned 14 in July) at a pub in the back party room with a bar, a seating area, a stage and a dance floor. I'll probably be sat down the whole time knowing me XD. I mean it's at the same place as the party I went to where I just didn't enjoy myself because I forced myself not to enjoy it. Let's hope that doesn't happen this time. I mean it's the same time as well, oh great. I'll try to enjoy myself because I don't want to look like an idiot in front of the popular group or else I'm a laughing stock for weeks on end afterwards. GREAT! (Great is one of the words I say when I'm being sarcastic).

Not long before 23rd! Who can't wait? Oh and when did you lot pre-order the CDs/Vinyls? I preordered the CDs like at the end of July.

Can't think of anything else... I'll just end this off. Average size (maybe shorter fir me XD)

/| Ps, I've broken my earphones somehow so I have to hold them in a certain place to get sound in the left earphone. The right one is fine. I'll blame my brother XD |\

The rest are teachers I've either had before of I've met before. I'm in like set 4 (a middle ability set) for Life but that's not properly set. It just means I have a load of new kids in my class because I'm usually in like set 1-3 (set 3 for pe XD). Anyway made a handful of new friends in the first week so easily. The two weirdest things about this year are:

1. They have knocked down two of the school blocks near the entrance of the school so it was so weird on the first day expecting to see A block stood there but instead I could see fences around where A block was and I COULD SEE L BLOCK which is weird because it's usually hidden behind A Block. Oh and M block has gone too so next to Quad is a load of fences rather than a building. I think A Block is the most noticeable difference because M block was just known as one of the buildings that blocks in Quad.
2. My brother is now here at my school. He's finally a year 7 and no longer in primary school! So I keep seeing him when I walkaround the school XD. I probably know his timetable better than mine because I've had to know where he is just incase he wants help etc. I mean I know where his VMG is, who his form teacher is, what form country and continent he is in, who is in his form, who half his teachers are and what lunches and breaks he is on. We are on different lunches and breaks luckily but I still have to see him walking around like once a week. The school is so large you rarely see anyone if they are in a different band/continent/year. I see him when he goes to French because we have French at the same time. Oh and I see him when he is in English because we are in English at the same time but that's about it apart from on the bus after school. You know, I'm happy about that. I mean if he needs help, I'm not there for him but still, at least I don't have to worry about him running into my conversations randomly.

So yeah, this year will be weird for a bit and then I'll get used to it. I've already filled up my school planner with homework! Not fair! Anyway, it's half past midnight snd I need to be up at 7am so I better get some sleep!

They were handing out freebies (I got three) and selling lots of stuff such as Pop Vinyls and Official Insomnia merch (which I wanted but most of the merch in a small size was sold out). As well as that they had shows on some different stages (the main stage, the Expo stage, the League Fest stage and the Twitch stage. They had many different things from retro games you could play to games that haven't even been released yet (I got to play FIFA 17). There was Robot Wars, Minecraft, a giant Xbox area and a large PlayStation area. The funny thing was that the Xbox and PlayStation areas were right next to each other so the staff at each one were making fun of the other company. Xbox made their fans chant 'Xbox' several times and the PlayStation staff started chanting PlayStation.

The opening to the event was amazing! Videos and funny freebies. They were giving away keyboard and computer mice which they carried in in brown plain boxes. After giving away all the actual freebies, they shouted 'now who want an empty box?'. Everyone in the audience started chanting 'Box! Box!'. The guy that one the last empty box managed to make everyone laugh because he just screamed 'YES I WON SOMETHING!' And put the box on his head.

One of the reasons I actually went was because loads of YouTubers were going meet six but I must of saw over 20. I met ThatGuyBarney and RedVacktor after they played Gang Beasts on the Expo Stage. I also met AshDubh, Tomohawk, Mini Muka and NettyPlays after they were on Nerds & Noobs on the main stage. I saw all the Yogscast group at their stall but the queue was so large there was no point waiting. We saw Syndicate on his way to a show along with several bodyguards. Yeah, I wasn't going to approach him. We almost say Vanoss Gaming but again there was a massive queue to meet him so there was no point.

Overall, I would recommend it for gamers and people who want to have a fun time (but you may not understand a lot of it due to all the gaming stuff)

My left hand is all numb from leaning on it for over 2 hours XD. Anyway, on to the blog! So yesterday (yesterday for me because it's 2:45am) I had to go clothes shopping with my mum, my brother and my dad because I needed school shoes (uniforms suck) and we all needed formal clothes for my grandparents' wedding anniversary event coming up in September. Now, I've been dreading this day since the event was arranged. I hate clothes shopping, especially with my family. (Be warned, I have a lot to say)

To start off, I'm the type of person that only ever keeps to one type is style. Jeans, tshirt (usually merch), some sort of hoodie and either pumps (like converse shoes) or trainers. You'd never see me in a dress. My mum is forcing me to wear a dress to this event. Now I see where she is coming from and yes dresses are formal, but their aren't my type of style. I haven't wore a proper dress probably since primary school. I hate going off my style. It's just not me. I don't feel like myself if I don't wear jeans. I means I don't mind skirts and shirts as a school uniform because everyone is wearing the same thing (or near another the same thing) so you get used to it. Saying all this, I wouldn't dare go to a quite formal event wearing a shirt and trousers (pants for you Americans) because I'd feel like I've lost my femininity and I really want to feel like a female at an event, especially when there are going to be people there that I haven't seen since I was a toddler. Anyway, I don't mind the thought of dresses and they look really nice but I don't want to wear them. It doesn't fit with my style and it's not me.

Next point, I am really picky when it comes to things I wear. I don't like heavy patterns and I prefer simpler ones or plain. I hate wearing the colour green. I really hate floral patterns. I hate most patterns really. I hate long sleeved dresses yet I wouldn't wear a short sleeved dress without a cardigan. I don't like uneven stripes. I hate checks. Like I really hate floral and checks. If I'm wearing a formal outfit, everything has to match and for formal, no trousers or jeans. There are loads more rules that I don't know until I start looking at clothes. Oh yeah, I hate shorts. Long shorts are awful and if you wear short shorts in my area, you are bound to be called a slut for it. No doubt about it. Like I said, I just usually wear merchandise and jeans.

Three, whenever I go clothes shopping with my mum, we are bound to fall out over my picky-ness. She likes nearly everything I hate so when I find something I like, she hates it or says it isn't right for the occasion. She also keeps on saying 'oh I thought you were emo and emos like [insert pattern or image here]'. Sorry to tell you mum but I'm not emo. I cringe whenever my parents mention either My Chemical Romance, emo or bands in general because them make them seem like the worst things in the world or they make me seem like the biggest emo/My Chemical Romance fan in the world. Not true. Anyway, so when me and my mum fall out, my dad is pulled in. When it comes to my dad and clothes, if it fits I am getting it. He forces me to get things that I end up purposely ruining, hiding or 'losing'. He just wants to make my mum happy that we have finished something... But we haven't and it's just made it worse because then we have to go back another time to get sonething else.

To end this off I'll say that I prefer clothes shopping with my friends because I'm not judged. I feel like I can buy anything and I don't hate on as many thing when I'm out with my friends because I'm a whole different person when I'm out with my friends. I'll wear things with friends that I'd never wear around my parents. Im pretty sure I wouldn't care if I wear dresses with my friends because I feel judged by my parents constantly. When I'm out with friends I'm not as picky. I'd wear more patterns. I don't know why I just don't want to wear stuff like that around my parents. I'd probably go all out with my friends. I wouldn't care if I wore my hair down and wore a dress around my friends. I wouldn't care about putting on makeup around my friends yet I'm completely natural around my parents.

Oh, I've got a headache. I shouldn't be looking at screens all day XD. Well I did get away from my iPad and my laptop and my phone etc when I went to my cousins' house. See, my auntie, uncle and one of my cousins have been on away on a cruise for the past two weeks (was it two weeks or three?). Anyway, my other cousin decided that he's too old for family trips away (I mean he is 18) and stayed at home. As well as that, if he wanted to get his A level results back on the day they are released, he would of had to miss it or check online but he wanted to actually find out what he got from opening the envelope. Ha, I read up on Facebook about a newspaper taking a photo of two A level students high fiveing each other because of their results. It turns out they were both high fiveing because they both got an E in Geography XD. Anyway, back to things that I have experienced personally. They seemed to enjoy themselves. I mean they didn't get to enjoy all the facilities available on the cruise ship but they still enjoyed watching the shows on at the ship's theatre. The only problem was that the ship moving from side to side quite a lot and made a load of the people onboard seasick. Oh, just looked out side my window; it's 0:22 and the sky is completely red/orange/pink. It may just be the street lights but it could be normal. I mean I've seen red sky before but not every night. Most nights it's black or blue. Anyway, I've finished talking about the cruise. I don't think I'd fully be able to enjoy a cruise but you never know. I may be on a cruise at some point in the future.

I'm looking forward to Insomnia 58! Although Skydoesminecraft is no longer going, Thatguybarney and RedVacktor still are so Ill try to meet them. My brother wants to meet Mr Syndicate and Vanoosgaming (you can tell I never watch him because I can't spell his username). I might meet Ashlieemariegaming too but I don't watch her as much as I did back in 2013/2014. I'm going on the last day (Monday 29th) but most of my friends are going on Saturday because most of the Youtuber special guests are going then. The youtubers I want to meet are going all weekend! I hope that I can try to watch some of the live shows. Because Sky cancelled on going, there is a chance that the stage shows he was meant to do will be cancelled or someone else will be slotted in. I mean some youtubers don't even have a stage show all weekend. Anyway, I still hope to enjoy it.
This time next week, I'll be looking forward to a full day of games!

If you have seen my account, there have been blogs out day after day... And then a stop... Then they come back but every two to three days even though my profile bio says I post daily. I should really edit that. I just either have had a really busy day and I haven't had time to blog, I've have a really uneventful day with nothing to talk about or I've just lost motivation to make blogs.

I know how friendly this community is, so if I never get any comments (and I know this isn't always true but I've just had the negative in mind) I feel like no one has read it... I just go straight for that conclusion. I'm not forcing you to comment. If there is nothing you feel like you can comment on then don't leave one. I just thought I'd mention that. I'm pretty sure I not alone with that thought. Anyway, I remember around the time this year where this site blew up again (so around February), I didn't bother commenting on other blogs or even reading them and I feel bad for that now but at the time it seemed the 'reasonable' thing to do because so many blogs were coming in at a time that my blogs were drowned out in the matter of an hour. I mean we have to agree, a part of it was spam but most of it was real people talking about their day(s). Sorry...

(I don't feel like it would be appropriate to end with my little sign off)
